How to Recover Deleted .NDF Files
Accidental or intentional deletion of MS SQL Server database file (.mdf and .ndf) can result into serious losses in business. However, if the file is deleted without using a 'Shift + Delete' operation, then the database user is safe as it remains recoverable from the 'Recycle Bin'. But, if the file is deleted from the 'Recycle Bin' or deleted by using a 'Shift + Delete' operation, then the database user cannot access the file. Understanding the frequency of such cases, Stellar Data Recovery Inc. has developed a database recovery product that is competent of recouping database files even after they are deleted from the 'Recycle Bin'.
The product's name is Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery v4.1. The SQL software recovers SQL database files even after when they are deleted from 'Recycle Bin'. The SQL database recovery tool incorporates efficient, yet safe scanning and recovery algorithms to perform recovery of lost, deleted, or missing SQL database files. The recovered files can be saved at new or default location. The MS SQL database recovery software supports recovery from almost all storage media, like hard drives, external media, USB drives, and more.

Compatible with Windows 7, Vista, 2003, XP, and 2000, the NDF recovery application can recover NDF file even after formatting of a hard drive. The SQL MDF recovery utility recovers 185 common file formats, which can be increased as per the user-requirements.
The software performs NDF file recovery by using below mentioned steps:

- Click 'Start Scan' option available on the bottom left of the screen. Once you click on the button, the scanning process will start.
- A tree-view list of all the recoverable files appears on the screen. Select the files and click on 'Recover' option.
The non-destructive software is available in two downloadable versions - trial and complete. The former version allows you to access the functionalities of the software and preview all the recoverable database files.
